I ordered eggs over hard, bacon, home fries with white toast and a large coffee at 12:40. Total was around $15. I got my meal at 12:50.
The place was completely empty. Good food! -

For some time, this diner had been my go-to spot for lunch. Grilled cheese with avocado was a perennial favorite and they make spectacular pasta dishes. They have a number of vegetarian friendly options which made this place even more inviting to me. That all changed after my most recent visit just this past Saturday.
I ordered the veggie cheeseburger deluxe, a meal I'd ordered several times before with no issues. Before I knew it I was experiencing the initial stages of food poisoning. Yes, I got sick from the food at this restaurant and I can assure you I will not be going back. It makes me sad because the staff was always so wonderful, but I just can't risk that happening again. -

i never thought i'd be saying this, but i'm so glad we weren't able to get into IHOP.
with the wait being ridiculously long at the classic american joint and our minds already weighing heavily on pancakes, we resorted to plan b: a random cafe across the street, whose "breakfast all day" sign captured our attention. and never looked back!!!!
i hesitate to even call it service, as the hospitality we were shown was warmer than that at many 5-star restaurants -- our guy didn't let us lift a FINGER. the fare could be best categorized as hearty comfort food, and in the best way possible. we each got 2 giant griddle items, 2 scrambled eggs, 2 slices of toast, half a plate of breakfast potatoes, and sweet potato fries ALL for under $10, and every single thing hit the spot. anyone letting the fact that it's served on plastic plates bother them is delusional!
AND...strawberry pancakes with the strawberries BAKED INTO the pancakes automatically wins 10 bonus points from me. -

I find myself drawn here when I'm looking for deli food that will be made without error.
I come here because if I order, "two eggs over easy on a whole-wheat wrap with avocado, cheddar, tomato, onion, and jalapenos" - that's exactly what I get.
That might not sound like a grand accomplishment, but for a deli, it is. Most delis, where you place your order with the cook directly, have high error rates. Here the cashier takes your order and they have never made a mistake on a single wacky thing I've asked for.
The ingredients are fresh, the staff is nice, and the place is clean. There are cheaper delis around. This place is sort of a hybrid between a delivery and a diner, where you order up front but they will bring your food to your table, and the seating is decent. -

Simple fresh and inexpensive place for breakfast lunch or dinner. Great salad bar to go, perfect for. Healthy under $10 mid week dinner in the easy village
